Haunted Graveyard

Ingredients

1/2 cup fresh spinach

10 ounces hummus

Vegetables (we used broccoli and celery)

Pretzels

Hard-boiled eggs

Crackers (for serving alongside)

Black olives

Edible marker

Carrot sticks

Instructions:
In a food processor, puree the spinach and hummus.

To make the boiled-egg ghosts, cut slits and insert black-olive facial features. Use an edible marker to turn crackers into tombstones.

Mound the dip on a tray and top it with veggie trees, a pretzel fence, boiled-egg ghosts, and cracker tombstones. I would use something a little more sturdier for the tombstones maybe non-edible since the crackers will get soggy in the hummus.

Fromage Simple with a hand

Ingredients

fromage simple dip

4 long carrots

1 medium carrot

sliced-almond

baby carrots

Fromage Simple:

In a food processor combine two 8 oz cream cheeses, 2 garlic cloves, 3/4 tsp caraway seeds, 3/4 tsp basil, 3/4 tsp dill weed, 1 tsp kosher salt.

Wash and peel 4 long carrots for fingers and 1 medium carrot for a thumb.  Place a little cream cheese mixture on the tips of the carrots and attach slivered almond for fingertips.

Note: fromage simple is delicious the next morning as a spread for bagels.
