Naan Pizza



Naan (pronounced nan or narn) makes a delicious and quick pizza that the whole family can help make.  The prep and grill time is just under 20 minutes.  Now get creative and have fun.


Ingredients:

Naan Bread ( Naan doesn't have a long shelf life so freeze it until the day you use it)
pizza sauce
creamy Parmesan sauce
olive oil
foil
toppings like, spinach, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, basil, pepperoni, sweet sausage, ham, pineapple, pepperoncinis or anything else you like on your pizza.

Create pizzas like Hawaiian, meat lovers, veggie, margherita or my personal favorite Brisa with roasted red peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes.







Directions:

Preheat grill on MEDIUM-HIGH.

Spread each naan with desired sauce and toppings and top with mozzarella cheese and Parmesan Cheese.

Spray foil with nonstick spray; place on grill. Reduce heat to MEDIUM. Place naan pizzas on foil; cover grill. Cook 7-9 min, occasionally checking for flare-ups, until toasted but not burnt.

Quarter pizzas; serve immediately.

Tip: If you're using spinach: Toss spinach with olive oil; season to taste with salt and pepper.
