Gingery Steak Salad
Love The Pioneer Woman and her cookbooks.....this is one of her fabulous recipes.
Ingredients:
Marinade:
2 TBSP soy sauce
1TBSP sherry
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp brown suar
1 whole rib eye, strip or sirloin steak
2TBSP olive oil
Salad Dressing:
2 TBSP olive oil
2TBSP soy sauce
2 TBSP sugar
1 TBSP lime juice
2 cloves garlic, finely diced
1 TBSP fresh ginfer, minced
1/2 Jalapeno, seeded and diced
fresh letuce of your choice, cleaned and chopped
2 whole green onions
Combine marinade ingredients in a ziplock bag and place steak in for 30 minutes-2hours.
Prepare pan with 2 TBSP olive oil and place steak in hot skillet. Cook for 1 1/2 minutes per side or until medium rare. Remove from skillet and set aside on plate.
Combine salad dressing ingredients and toss with lettuce. Slice steak on a cutting board and place on top of salad greens. Add chopped green onions and cherry tomatoes and then serve.
